Joh 14:15 If ye love me, keep my commandments.

The primary reason why Christians don't tell others about Christ is because they really don't love Him. One may counter that statement with "I love him, but I am just afraid to witness to other people", but the Bible states that Perfect Love casts out fear. I'm not ashamed or afraid to tell anyone that I am married, because I love my wife. If I wanted to cheat on my wife, I might be silent about my relationship with her. But then I wouldn't really love her would I? Those who are ashamed or afraid to tell others about their faith in Christ do not love Him.

1Jn 4:18 There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.

Our nation is in the shape it is in because people are too busy 'going" to church that they don't take the time to be the Church.

A secondary reason Christians don't tell others about their faith in Christ is because you can't tell someone about something that you don't have.

Christian's faith today is in their jobs, their comfort, their programs or in other men or women of God instead of in Christ.
They have more faith in doctors and medications than they do in the Word of God.
They have more faith in bank loans than God's Promises of Provision.
They have more faith in a 12 step program than they do in Christ's Power to deliver them from their sin.
They have more faith in the "anointed" touch from the preacher than they do in the Presence of God, or in the prayers of godly men and women than they do in the Promises of God.

Luk 18:8 I tell you that he will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth?

A third reason Christians don't tell others about Jesus is because many of the men and women that are called pastors and leaders don't teach them how to.

Their leaders are so busy building their own private personality cults that they condition their audience to invite people to come to their "church". They make their audience to take pledges of faithfulness to their congregation, and teach them that faithfulness entails being in "church" every time the doors are open.
They avoid working with other fellowships (unless they are in the same denomination), because they really aren't about the Kingdom of God.
The flock of God, the Body of Christ is scattered into personal kingdoms and conditioned to remain separate from the rest of the Body, and it renders the Church powerless and irrelevant in this nation.
They are about the business of promoting the name of the building they call church.
Evangelism is better left to the guy who holds the title of "Evangelist", who makes his church rounds two or three times a year. MOST (not all) "church evangelists" rarely are found in the public square proclaiming Christ. They are just preachers who live for the plate and the three day meeting they call "revivals".

Jer 2:8 The priests said not, Where is the LORD? and they that handle the law knew me not: the pastors also transgressed against me, and the prophets prophesied by Baal, and walked after things that do not profit.

Jer 23:1 Woe be unto the pastors that destroy and scatter the sheep of my pasture! saith the LORD.

Eze 12:2 Son of man, thou dwellest in the midst of a rebellious house, which have eyes to see, and see not; they have ears to hear, and hear not: for they are a rebellious house.

Do you take exception to what you just read? Then Repent, if you need to, and get busy about proclaiming the Name of Jesus Christ and begin establishing His Kingdom in your realm of influence today. The real sad thing is that most who read this and who fit this description will just continue in their religious ways, because their hearts have become hardened to the Truth. Religion is safer (in this present world) than Commitment to the Cause of the Kingdom of God.

The Kingdom of God is at Hand!
